TWO artists will be displaying their work as part of a joint exhibition at a Bradford gallery next month.

“Came so far for beauty” will run at South Square Gallery in Thornton from November 2 to 28, and feature the work of Mandy Farrar and Allan Brack.

Both artists were involved in different ways in the early days of South Square, at which they last showed their work together in 2002.

The exhibition sees them return with with work reflecting the years in between spent briefly in America, then Cornwall and more recently in North Wales.

Throughout their journey and at their various exhibitions they have paid homage to the late poet/singer songwriter and artist Leonard Cohen, and the exhibition is named after one of his songs.

Mandy works mainly in abstract in acrylics/mixed-media, and Allan draws/paints figuratively with emulsion and pastel.

There is a private viewing of the exhibition at the gallery on Friday from 6pm to 9pm.
