THERE will be some disruption on the M62 next week for roadworks.

On Monday, the eastbound carriageway between Junction 23 for Outlane and Junction 24 for Ainley Top will be closed from 8pm to 6am for carriageway repairs.

The eastbound exit slip road at Junction 28 for Tingley will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday for carriageway improvements, from 8pm to 6am.

On Tuesday the eastbound carriageway at Junction 26 for Chain Bar will be closed between the slip roads overnight, between 8pm and 6am, for technology works.

On Thursday, November 1, the anti-clockwise exit slip road from the M621 at Junction 27 for Gildersome will be fully closed overnight for two nights for junction improvements, from 8pm to 6am.

Both the eastbound and westbound carriageways between Junction 26 for Chain Bar and J27 for Gildersome will be closed overnight on Saturday, November 3, for cable work, between 8pm and 6am.

For every closure, there will be clearly signed diversion routes in place for motorists to follow.

The work is being carried out by Highways England as part of ongoing improvements to the M62.
