SIR – The domestic rugby league season is over once again. The Bulls have made great strides under the stewardship of its owners, particularly Andrew Chalmers who has a calm, considered approach to business on and off the field and a realistic vision for the club’s future.

The appointment of John Kear as head coach was an inspired one and has been the catalyst for a positive atmosphere around Odsal.

John Bastian and his staff have continued their great work to develop young players, with tremendous support from BullBuilder, the Bradford Bulls Supporters Trust.

The players have performed with real spirit, belief and pride and are to be congratulated for their efforts.

Behind the scenes there are unsung heroes, staff and volunteers who have played a huge part in the promotional push towards the Championship. They have all played a significant role in the recent success of the Bulls. Bigger challenges lie ahead next season and there will be the usual highs and lows. Finally, we can look forward to happier times.
