A ROAD had to be closed while firefighters tackled a car blaze last night.
They were called to Leonard Street, Bingley, at around 9.45pm, where the back end of a Vauxhall Corsa had caught fire.
A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the road had to be closed while firefighters worked at the scene, as the car was in the middle of the street.
They stayed at the scene for around 45 minutes.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
