THERE is just one week to go before Bradford City Runs takes to the streets.
The event is on Sunday, 28 October and people are being encouraged to sign up.
The annual festival of running has a choice of three distances: a 5km, a 10km and a half marathon along with a special kids’ mile run, all on closed roads in and around City Park in the city centre.
The route will take in parts of Little Germany and the Broadway Shopping Centre, the University of Bradford, Bradford College, City Hall and City Park.
Councillor Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council’s Executive Member for Healthy People and Places, said: “ We would urge people to get signed up and get their running shoes ready for next weekend.”
