A PECULIAR sight has greeted visitors of a Bradford park throughout the day.
Halloween came early to Peel Park when one park goer noticed mysterious strands glimmering in the October sunlight.
Shabir Rana, who has lived in the area for more than 35 years, was shocked to find cobwebs strewn across the length and width of the football pitch closest to the Friends of Peel Park Cafe.
He said: "It looks like something out of a movie. I've been here for over 35 years and I've spoke to locals who have lived here for 65 years and we've never seen anything like it. I couldn't get my eyes off it."
Mr Rana said he'd also seen the small black spiders who were responsible for the phenomena.
He said: "They were really shiny, like glass, like a marble effect. I was thinking about Spiderman when I looked."
Passers by may have missed the spider webs at first glance, but from certain angles the long tangles of stringy strands were clear to see, to the naked eye.
The thin webs are difficult to discern in some photos and look more like a pools of water reflecting the sun's rays.
