A NURSERY in Little Horton has retained its 'Good' rating from Ofsted following a recent inspection.
Russell Street Private Day Nursery was praised for its "warm, welcoming and highly caring environment", and its link with parents.
The Ofsted report said: "Managers are passionate about promoting diversity and equality, encouraging all children to aim high.
"The teaching of children who have English as an additional language is consistently strong.
"Children are well prepared for the next steps in their learning. They are interested and motivated to find out about the world around them."
To become an Outstanding nursery, inspectors said structures of the day could be improved so children spend less time waiting, and staff need to take children's learning forward more during child-led activities.
They added questions from staff sometimes need to be more focused on the child's interests.
