POLICE have released images of a car as part of a murder investigation. 

Detectives are continuing to investigate the Sandford Road murder, where 40-year-old Amriz Iqbal died in hospital after being struck by a vehicle and then assaulted at about 1pm on Wednesday, October 3.

A second man received minor injuries.

A 38-year-old man from Bradford has been charged with the murder of Mr Iqbal and has been remanded into custody.

A 35-year-old man who was also arrested in connection with the incident was released under investigation.

The car, believed to be used in the incident, is a silver Kia Sedona.

Police think the registration plate begins with NX04.

Detective Chief Inspector Ian Scott, of the Homicide and Major Enquiries Team, said: "We believe the Sedona travelled through Laisterdyke towards Barkerend Road shortly before the incident and would be keen to speak to anyone who saw this vehicle or its occupants.

"We would also like to speak to anyone who saw a vehicle matching this description with collision damage in the Bradford area from 1pm onwards, as they may have crucial information which will help us to progress our investigation into this targeted attack."
