LISTER Park will again be lit up with lanterns as Cecil Green Arts presents its sixth annual lantern parade.
The event containing around 300 community-made lanterns takes place on Friday, October 26, at 6.30pm.
With larger than life creations, this year’s theme for the parade is “There is no planet B” including a spectacular fire finale.
Cartwright Hall Art galleries ‘Museums at Night’ has partnered with year’s parade and the public will be able to visit the galleries between 10am to 9pm on parade day.
Music from the Peace Artistes, Orixo Block and Jamba Samba will add rhythm to the parade.
Two local choirs, Joy Choir and Great Yorkshire Chorus, will also perform in the park from 5.30pm.
Funding has come from Awards for All, Bradford Council and Sovereign Healthcare.
