BRADFORD-born professional opera singer Helen Anne Gregory will be returning to the city on Saturday, October 20, with opera ensemble Appassionare.
The event will be held at Bradford Cathedral and the mezzo soprano will be joined by soprano Lorna Rushton, tenor Richard Belshaw and bass-baritone Robert-John Edwards.
Miss Gregory said: “It’s a real honor to get to perform in this beautiful venue, which was part of my musical upbringing.
“We will be performing beautiful arias and ensembles, with excerpts from La Boheme, Madame Butterfly, Carmen and Rigoletto. In the second half, we will be bringing you some well-known songs from the Musical Theatre repertoire such as Les Miserables, West Side Story, Cats and much more.”
