DESPITE Bradford's reputation as the Curry Capital of Britain - winning the title six years in a row - residents aren't hot stuff when it comes to the strengths of their takeaways.
The city comes eighth in a new league table of the spiciness of curry orders according to research by delivery firm Deliveroo.
Ahead of national curry week, Deliveroo has created UK heat map revealing which cities like their curries hot… or not.
Cardiffians come top in the spicy stakes with many deliveries featuring vindaloos, phalls and jalfrezis, ahead of Leicester and Birmingham.
According to Deliveroo’s research, renowned curry capitals like Bradford and Glasgow are not quite the heat freaks you would expect, falling into eighth and sixth place.
And the crown for the UK’s mildest city goes to... Coventry - a well deserved spot, epitomised by their most ordered Indian dish on the app: a side of mint sauce.
Leeds people apparently don't like it hot - it comes fourth on the mild league table.
