A CIRCUS has returned to Bradford for the second time this year after fans demanded the show must go on.
Circus Sallai (pronounced Chall-ay) has set up its Big Top on the pitch of Odsal Stadium and started its four day, eight-show run in the city yesterday.
The showstoppers opened their doors to Bradfordians for the first-time in June at Peel Park, showcasing its modern take on a tradition that celebrates its 250th anniversary in 2018.
It boats artists from all over the world including Hungary, Argentina and Italy, and includes a cast of acrobats, aerial performers, jugglers, clowns, magicians and stunt riders.
Salvatore Sambito, a trapeze artist, said circus bosses choose to return to Bradford after they received 1,000 e-mails urging them to come back.
Tickets are on sale for the shows at https://www.circus-sallai.co.uk/
Prices for adults range from £12 for seats in the Grandstand to £15 for Ringside seats.
Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
