HUNDREDS of customers walked through the doors of a brand new Screwfix store when it celebrated its opening weekend.
The Cleckheaton branch opened to the public last Thursday - at Luddite Way Business Park, in Rawfolds Way - to customers eager to stock-up on the latest tools and trade equipment.
Kevin Gordon, store manager, said: "Our celebration period, which ran from Thursday, October 4 and throughout the weekend until Sunday, October 7, attracted hundreds of customers.
"We have received fantastic support from the local homes or community facilities and are looking forward to welcoming and helping more tradespeople and serious DIYers over the coming months."
Open seven days a week and from 7am, Monday to Friday, the store also has a Click & Collect service.
