A MAN has been charged with murder after two men were struck by a vehicle and assaulted last week.
Tony Grant, 38, of Queens Road, Bradford, has also been charged with attempted murder and appeared before Bradford Magistrates' Court today.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Bradford Crown Court on Thursday, October 11.
The charges relate to an incident in Sandford Road last Wednesday, October 3 from which a 40-year-old man later died.
The identity of the victim was today confirmed by police as Amriz Iqbal, 40, of Wetherby.
He is believed to have had three children - a 16-year-old, a two-year-old and an 18-month-old.
The other man suffered minor injuries.
A 35-year-old man who was also arrested in connection with the incident has been released under investigation.
