A TWO car crash last night on a busy road outside a local pub saw one car lose two doors.
The crash, believed to be at around 10:14pm last night, occurred outside The George Pub on Leeds Road.
A silver Volkswagen Golf and a separate silver Volkswagen vehicle were involved.
The Golf suffered most damage and could be seen in the road with its front smashed up and its airbags triggered.
It was later recovered.
The other Volkswagen vehicle was seen facing outwards on a verge at the side of the road.
Its right-hand and left-hand rear doors had come off the car and were propped up against a nearby wall, either side of the vehicle.
Debris was also strewn across the road.
But, the exact circumstances of the crash are unknown at this point.
A section of Leeds Road was closed for at least an hour with motorists diverted along alternative routes.
Leeds Road is often used as a main route between Leeds and Bradford.
One woman was overheard asking a police officer how she would get to Pudsey with the diversion in place.
