OFFICERS in Bradford have seized half a dozen vehicles over the past week for various reasons.
The total of six includes three motorbikes, two cars and a scooter.
PC Richard Lawn and PC Joey Boswell seized the first of the lot last Saturday.
The officers found a motorist riding a scooter without a licence, with no insurance, and no MOT.
The rider is set to appear in court.
Two of the three bikes seized had been stolen by individuals.
The first, a blue bike, was found in the Lower Grange area of Bradford on Monday, October 1, with the bike recovered for CSI.
Enquiries are ongoing into the rider.
The second stolen bike to be recovered was a red Honda CBR, which was found yesterday by the Bradford Quad Squad, with help from the West Yorkshire Police Bradford South team.
Two suspects were taken into custody.
The final bike seized was also found yesterday.
Officers had just left the police station when they saw a dirt bike being driven on the road.
It is only legal to ride a dirt bike on the road if it is fully modified to meet strict standards - this includes correct tyres, a speedometer, lights and a horn.
The bike was seized and the rider reported.
The final incident saw PC Price locate two stolen cars on Thursday, October 4.
A Mitsubishi Shogun and a grey Kia will now be returned to their owners and enquiries are ongoing into the thefts of the vehicles.
