A CAR was left with its front end smashed after an incident at the NCP Hall Ings car park.
The silver Volkswagen suffered significant damage to the bonnet and its bumper had come clean off.
The nature of the initial incident is unclear, but one witness saw the damaged car being driven out of the car park and it was then subsequently parked up at the side of the road.
The witness said the car's passenger airbag had gone off.
Two women were seen sat on chairs at the entrance to the car park, and were visibly shocked.
Police officers were attending to them, but one officer said it was a minor incident.
One police car and two amubulance units were at the scene.
The NCP entrance was strewn with car debris, including the VW badge and the car's bumper which was propped at the side of the road.
