BRADFORD-based chemicals manufacturer Christeyns has installed two electric charging points in its head office car park for its visitors and company vehicles.
The charging points, supplied by Rexel, are in the Rutland Street car park and are available for use 24 hours a day by anyone visiting the firm as well as all employees.
Christeyns marketing manager Jon Walker comments: “We are seeing an increasing number of electric cars on the roads and we now have several electric and hybrid vehicles in our own fleet. The installation of these new charging points will provide reassurance and make it easier for our visitors and staff to recharge.
“Sustainability and concern for the environment is key on our agenda at Christeyns and this is factored into operations across all our business units. Cutting down on our fleet emissions, is another way we can improve our commitment. “There is no doubt that we will see a growing number of electric vehicles of all types on our facility.”
