VOLUNTEERS are working hard provide mums-in-need with the essentials for their babies and children.
The Bradford Baby Bank was set up last year and operates on a referrals system, with those in need of a helping hand referred through domestic violence agencies, housing agencies, health visitors and others.
Its work is supported across the district, with Cottingley Village Primary School hosting a regular collection, St Joseph's Primary School holding a collection, plus Crossflatts Primary School, which is doing a nappy collection as its harvest event.
Pebbles Nursery in Yeadon has also collected donations.
The baby bank is currently looking for permanent storage, ideally a ground floor space in central Bradford.
Emma Clarke, from the baby bank, said there is a constant need for donations of nappies.
Regular updates, appeals and donation points can be found on the group's Facebook page.
