A RENEWED call is being made for people to get involved in the Queensbury 1940s event.
Anybody who would like to see the return of the vintage event, which in past years has included live entertainment, army display vehicles, fairground rides, and a Spitfire flyover is is being encouraged to attend the AGM.
A committee needs to be formed to ensure the event can take place.
People will need to be able to attend monthly meetings and help on the days before the event and the day itself.
Help with organising, publicity, fundraising, delivering posters and accounting is needed.
The AGM will be held at Queensbury Conservative Club, Chapel Street, at 7pm on Thursday, October 4. For more information ring Stuart on 078 1520 1650.
