THE RSPCA is appealing for information after a dog which has recently had puppies staggered into a workshop in Bradford this morning.

The mastiff-type dog was spotted by staff at the workshop, and the RSPCA was called to help the dog.

She is suffering with flaky skin, conjunctivitis and is underweight, and is producing milk which meals she has recently had puppies.

She is an older dog, and has no collar but is microchipped, however this is a Romanian chip with no information on it.

Kris Walker, RSPCA inspector, said: “This dog has a beautiful temperament, she may be owned by somebody and has escaped from a garden or she may have been straying for a while.

“I am extremely concerned that potentially there are puppies somewhere nearby that are going to be in trouble if they don’t get the milk they need.

“If anyone does recognise this dog or knows anything about her puppies I would urge them to get in touch via our inspectorate appeal line on 0300 123 8018.”

The dog is now in the care of the RSPCA and is receiving veterinary treatment.
