THE next Team Programme course delivered by Shipley College in partnership with The Prince’s Trust starts on Monday.
The programme for 16 to 25-year-olds aims to help people grow in confidence and skills and is ideal for anyone who is out of eduction or unemployed and not sure of what they want to do next.
The course runs for 12 weeks and includes taking part in a community project as a team and creating and carrying out fun, stimulating activities with the local community.
Students also attend a three-night action-packed residential programme.
In addition, there is careers advice, help with job hunting and CVs, and developing skills that will help in life and jobs.
A two-week work experience placement is tailored to the interests of the students and has included plastering, joinery, animal care, care work, café bar bistro work and helping in a gym.
