A PLANNED housing development in Wilsden is likely to get the final go ahead next week.
Acre Products' plans for houses on an area on land near Moorside Farm, off Wellington Road, were approved in an outline stage in 2015.
On Wednesday a full application for the site - that would see seven detached, four and five bedroom homes built on the land as well as an access road, will be decided by Bradford Council's Keighley and Shipley Area Planning Panel.
The site is 0.49 hectares, and is currently classed as grazing land.
The plans have been recommended for approval despite a number of objections.
One objectors said the increase in traffic would create a "danger to life" and Wilsden Parish Council has said there should be a wider mix of homes, with smaller properties as well as four bedroom houses.
An application for houses on a neighbouring site were approved in 2016, and the access to this development would be via the same road.
One objector raised concerns that there could be further developments next to the site, and in a planning report officers say that because plans for further development have already been approved, this was not a valid reason to reject this plan.
The panel will meet in Keighley Town Hall at 10am.
