Peter Sutcliffe
Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe has been taken from prison to hospital, it has been reported.
National newspapers are reporting that the 72-year-old serial killer, from Heaton, Bradford, is believed to have been taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital late on Sunday.
Patients are said to have seen him surrounded by guards on one of the hospital's wards.
Sutcliffe is serving 20 life sentences for murdering 13 women and attempting to kill seven more.
