BRADFORD Peace Museum is to celebrate International Peace Day this weekend.
On Friday, September 21, from 10am till 4pm you can visit The Peace Museum main galleries, including its new exhibition The Cell Block.
This is a new travelling exhibition created by English Heritage as part of its Heritage Lottery-funded project to conserve and uncover the stories of the graffiti at the 19th century Richmond Castle cell block.
Free activities and guided tours available on request.
Then on Saturday from 11am till 3pm the public can go to a pop-up gallery a Piece of Peace at 60 Kirkgate.
You can explore three exhibitions, including Jill Gibbon’s Etiquette of the Arms Trade and Pieces of Peace: A History of Peace in 20 Objects, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of The Peace Museum.
