Two suspects have been arrested in a fast-moving police inquiry into four ‘nasty burglaries’ in the district.

Three of the raids took place last night in the Keighley and Silsden areas.

Two males have been arrested and charged with multiple offences.

Meanwhile, a Mercedes stolen in a Keighley burglary was recovered today in the Manningham area of Bradford.

PC Caroline Foster tweeted: “Two males have been arrested in relation to four nasty burglaries, three of which occurred last night in the @WYP_Keighley and Silsden area. “They have now been charged with 6+ offences including burglary, robbery and driving offences and both remanded for court in the morning.”

PC Sam Hollings added: “Outstanding stolen from a burglary in Keighley last night just recovered in Manningham. One happy owner with an undamaged recovered Mercedes.”
