SALTAIRE Festival attracted hundreds of visitors to the World Heritage village on its final weekend.

The public were entertained by live music, could shop at the various stalls set up and explore the numerous events which were held as part of the festival which was first held in 2003.

On Saturday, the festival featured food, drink and markets in Roberts Park, Caroline Street car park and on Exhibition Road with everything from candyfloss in a pram to more exotic fare in the continental market.

And there was free live music in the park for all the family from the likes of Rubber Kazoo, Dr Bob and the Bluesmakers and Trenchtown UK.

On the artistic side of the festival there were free tours of the David Hockney Gallery in Salts Mill and exhibitions of work by members of Aire Valley Arts, by jewellers and metal smiths, by Saltaire Art Group and of portraits by photographer Shy Burhan.

Shipley Model Railway Society also held its 40th anniversary exhibition as part of the festival.

The event finishes on Sunday with more exhibitions, music and markets.
