POLICE are searching for two men after an armed robbery at Cash Converters.
Officers were called to the shop, in Tong Street, at 12.48pm on Thursday and cordoned off the immediate area.
One onlooker told the Telegraph & Argus that a man on a moped and armed with an axe had stolen a Rolex watch from the store, which exchanges jewellery, electrical items, household goods and other belongings, for cash.
A cordon was put in place around the store and police tape was covering the entrance.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said two men fled the scene on a motorbike.
He added: "Police are investigating after reports of an armed robbery at a shop on Tong Street in Bradford.
"Two male suspects left the scene on a motorbike."
