FIVE of the areas top young athletes will be on international duty for England this weekend.
Brothers Joe and Louis Hudson, Lilli Carr, Emily Jones and Eric Beaumont are competing in the Junior Home International Mountain Running Championships at Glendalough, Ireland on Saturday.
Joe Hudson is in the under-20 team while his younger brother Louis who has qualified for the under-17 team and is winning his first England vest. Both boys are pupils at Ermysted’s.
The Skipton Girls High School duo of Carr and Jones are competing in the under-17 age group.
Carr from Steeton has qualified for under-17 girls team and Jones from Lothersdale has qualified for the under-17 girls B team
Keighley & Craven’s Eric Beaumont has qualified for under-17B team .
