THE RSPB Airedale and Bradford local group is hosting an illustrated talk by Derek Niemann about his recently-published book Birds in a Cage.
The book looks at the way British Prisoners of War in Germany overcame the hardship through their shared love of birds.
They went on to become nature conservation pioneers.
The talk is being held at The Kirkgate Centre, Kirkgate, Shipley, on Friday, September 7, at 7.30pm.
The costs is £3 for members and non members (children free).
