A MANORLANDS support group is celebrating a hugely successful first year.
Since it was launched, the Skipton-based group has coined in £21,000 for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
The funds were raised through activities including quiz and curry nights, a supermarket collection, Yorkshire Three Peaks walk and a Night at Niffany event.
Group chair Kelly Smith said: “It’s been a great year getting to know each other and making new friends.
“We have had some fun times along the way and are absolutely delighted with the money we’ve raised for Manorlands.
“My dad was cared for by the hospice so I know just how important the services are and it’s a great feeling being able to help.”
Manorlands community fundraiser Molly Ralphson thanked the group.
