A FORMER student at Bradford College has taken a trip down memory lane by visiting the college, 63 years after graduating.

John Langan, 85, stopped by the college while on a holiday back to the UK.

Mr Langan, pictured, who now lives in Arizona, USA, studied pharmacy between 1950 and 1955, before emigrating to the US and building up a biomedical testing business in Philadelphia before retiring 20 years ago.

He was given a tour of the facilities used by current pharmacy students by Gail Holmes, head of pharmacy.

Mr Langan said: “I was a student here for three years full-time and the two years part-time whilst working with Boots.

“It was very hard work but I have some happy memories of the place and it was lovely to see the college as it is now. A lot has changed and there are some great facilities for today’s students.”
