THE HOME Front will come to Keighley Playhouse as members host their annual Macmillan Coffee Morning.
The actors and backstage crew will wear period costume for their 1940s-themed event on Saturday, September 29.
The event, which aims to raise £1,000, will be part of the World’s Greatest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Hannah Williams, one of the organisers, said there would be dancing to 1940s music from Airedale Swing Dance Community as well as tea, coffee, cake, raffle, silent auction and tombola.
She said: “Several games have been organised including How Many Buttons in the Jar and Guest the Name of the Teddy. We will have items available in return for a donation including hampers and home-made jams.
“This year on top of our usual event we have decided to create a Just Giving page for those who would like to support the charity but can’t make it on the day.”
The coffee morning runs from 10am to 2pm at the Playhouse’s theatre near the bottom of Devonshire Street.
