THE site of a former church that burned down earlier this year will be sold at auction.
In January the empty Unitarian Church on the junction of Broadway Avenue and Hastings Street was wrecked by a fierce fire, that left the dilapidated building beyond repair.
The building has since been demolished, and the 524 square metre plot of land on which it once stood, and is surrounded on all sides by housing, will go under the hammer at a Pugh property auction held on September 4.
The guide price for the plot is £92,000.
Plans to build five houses on the site were approved by Bradford Council in 2016.
The auction will take place at Leeds United Football Ground.
