A FRANTIC search is on to find a local lottery winner who is yet to claim their £1 million prize.

The mysterious missing ticket was bought in Leeds, but the owner of the winning slip only has days to claim the cash before it goes elsewhere.

National Lottery players are being urged to check and double-check their tickets one last time to make sure they don't miss out on this life-changing prize.

The ticket was drawn as a winner on the Lotto draw way back on February 24 this year, but it has still remained unclaimed to this day.

The winning Millionaire Raffle code is: BLUE 8300 4980.

Now, the lucky ticket-holder has until next Thursday, August 23 to claim the £1 million before it goes to other causes.

If no-one comes forward the money, and all the interest that has been generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

Earlier this year, just over £1 million of lottery funding was awarded to 27 community initiatives across Bradford, including Primetime Bradford for its Young Leaders Network.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Time really is running out for the winner of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money."

With all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket.

Anyone who has any queries or who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050  or email help@national-lottery.co.uk
