THREE Bradford MPs have signed a letter to the University of Bradford Vice-Chancellor expressing concerns over the impact of 200 redundancies at the University.
The letter to Professor Brian Cantor, pictured, has been signed by Imran Hussain, Naz Shah and Judith Cummins.
They have expressed concerns over the impact the cuts will have on the university’s reputation, and also called on the it to hold “meaningful consultation” with staff.
Mr Hussain said: “The way university management has handled these cuts is deeply disappointing.
“The university must halt their plans for job losses and engage in thorough and meaningful consultation with staff.
“These job cuts will impact staff, and the university’s reputation.”
