ARMED police arrested a man at a caravan park in Baildon on Sunday as part of an ongoing investigation into a robbery in Leeds.

Martin Booth, 48, was arrested at Crook Farm Caravan Park in Glen Road at around 3pm on Sunday, and has today been charged with robbery.

He is due to appear before Leeds Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Officers attended a house in Arlington Place, Hunslet, Leeds on Friday, July 27, following reports of a robbery in which a firearm was reported to have been present.

On Saturday, Steven Clayton, 58, and a man, 31, were arrested, with Clayton being charged on suspicion of robbery and appearing before Leeds Magistrates Court today.

The second man was released under investigation.

Another man, aged 54, and a 56-year-old woman were also arrested on Saturday afternoon.

David Torr, 54, was later arrested and charged with robbery and also appeared before Leeds Magistrates today, and no further action was taken against the female.

Police enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
