A STABBING in the smoking area of a Bradford nightclub followed an argument inside the venue, police have revealed.
It happened last Sunday, July 15, in the smoking area of the Village nightclub in Sackville Street at around 4am.
A 22-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds and remains there for further treatment.
Two 21-year-old men from Bradford arrested in connection with the incident have been bailed pending further enquiries.
Detective Inspector Damian Simpson, of Bradford District CID, said: “Our enquiries so far suggest this incident followed an argument inside the club.
“We know there were others in the club at that time and we would appeal for them to come forward and tell us what they saw.”
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101, quoting crime reference 13180347111, or by using the live chat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website.
Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
