THREE people have been taken to hospital following a crash in Bradford this evening.

Emergency services were called to Manchester Road at around 8.40pm, where a Kia Picanto going towards the city centre smashed into a road sign and barrier.

A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said there were three males in the vehicle, two who were suffering from cuts and abrasions and another who sustained suspected spinal and neck injuries.

The spokesman said there was only one car involved in the smash.

A video circulating on social media shows the car on the central reservation, just down from the busy road's junction with Ransdale Road, and a crowd of people gathered at the scene before the arrival of the first fire engine.
