BRADFORD women from all walks of life have been invited to sign up for a local theatre group’s new project.

Common Wealth, based in the city, is building up a group of 15 women of all ages, experiences and background to work on Radical Acts - inspired by the radical action women made throughout history and across the world. The project will look at what radical action still needs to be taken by women today.

The group is encouraging mums and daughters to apply, people who can speak more than one language are welcomed, and people don’t need acting experience. Actors will be paid £10 an hour.

Auditions will be held at Speaker’s Corner on Ivegate on Monday from 4pm to 6pm.

Rehearsals will be from September 4 to 19 and the performances will be from September 20 to 23.

People can either turn up on the day or email info@commonwealththeatre.co.uk
