POLICE have released e-fits of two men wanted in relation to the robbery of two mountain bikes from a 15-year-old boy.

The bikes were stolen from the boy at the junction of Hey Street and Longside Lane, Listerhills, between 6pm and 7pm on Saturday, May 26.

A man approached the boy and made demands for one of the bikes, and was then joined by two others who made threats to stab the boy if he did not hand it over.

No knife was seen but the victim handed over both bikes. One was a black and silver Carrera Vengeance with a bad under the seat and by the handlebars, and the other was a lime green Carrera Sulcata.

Police have now released e-fits of two suspects, and are appealing for anyone who recognises them to get in touch.

One man had ginger hair and was described as muscular and around six feet tall. The other was around 5ft 8ins and had blonde or light brown hair.

Police are also appealing for information about the Carrera Vengeance being taken from outside a newsagents in Great Horton Road at around 5.30pm on the same day.

The victim recovered the bike after pursuing the thief to Longside Lane where it was abandoned by the suspect, who is believed to have ran towards the city centre.
