THE iconic Lancaster bomber is expected to put in an appearance over two days of this year's Yorkshire Wartime Experience.
It is anticipated the legendary aircraft will take to the skies above the fields in Hunsworth Lane, where the show takes place from July 6 to 8 on Saturday and Sunday - the first time it has performed a fly past over two days of the show.
Show organiser, Stuart Wright, says finding out they could have a flypast on both days - a first for the show - was 'superb.'
"The Lancaster Bomber is the most iconic World War II aircraft in the world," he says.
Tanks are already rolling into the village, just outside Cleckheaton, where the show takes place.
The ex-British Army MK 10 Chieftain main battle tank (pictured) owned by an enthusiast in Halifax will be joined by 63 other armoured vehicles being showcased during the Yorkshire Wartime Experience.
Built in the 1960s by Vickers, it features a 120mm main gun and is powered by a Rolls Royce engine.
The show features more than 500 military vehicles, 67 re-enactment groups and 77 military and vintage stalls as well as a replica of a WW1 trench.
Around 567 school children will be attending the show on Friday.
