AN ALL-female team have launched a cosmetic and aesthetics clinic in Bradford and will host a red-carpet event next month.

The team behind My:Skyn are hoping to bring Harley Street – known for an abundance of high-quality aesthetic clinics – to Bradford by offering natural-looking and long-term results for clients.

My:Skyn, located at Allerton Health Centre in Belldean Road, is spearheaded by two local medical professionals and the team boasts 20 years of collective experience. Dr Uzma Qureshi is a qualified doctor and has been working as a GP in Bradford for over 10 years.

Her business partner is Sadia Khan, who qualified as a pharmacist and has been working in the NHS providing pharmaceutical care for more than seven years.

The duo also have a team of aesthetic therapists.

Dr Qureshi said: “We feel that patients in Bradford should have access to the same high-quality, evidence-based treatments as those living in London and other large cities.

“The philosophy of the clinic is to provide unbiased, patient-centred consultations, so that individuals can make a fully informed decision about their skincare treatments.”

It is this that the owners believe sets them apart – My:Skyn is a private aesthetic clinic, yet it is based within a medical centre and focuses on medical grade technology. Dr Qureshi said: “That way they can be safe in the knowledge that they are being seen by clinicians practising to the same high standards as in an NHS setting.”

Bradford has also seen a UK first with My:Skyn having acquired the innovative Thunder MT laser – a revolutionary hair removal platform. Ms Khan said: “We’ve invested heavily in some of the best anti-ageing, body contouring and skin rejuvenation technology available in the UK, and hope that this shows our commitment to helping our patients, as well as contributing to the local business community.”

The clinic will hold its red-carpet event, to be attended by a local MP, on Thursday, July 12, from 3pm to 8.30pm.
