A CYCLIST has suffered "serious" injuries after being involved in a crash with a Landrover in Ilkley last night.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to the collision, which took place on Moor Road just after 9pm, to come forward.
In an appeal issued today, police said: "The incident happened at 9.05pm and involved a Landrover Discovery Sport and a Boardman pedal cycle.
"At the time of the collision both vehicles were travelling towards Ilkley from the direction of Burley Woodhead.
"As a result of the incident the cyclist was left with serious injuries."
Any witnesses to the incident, or the way in which the vehicles were being driven or ridden prior to the crash, are asked to call police on 101 quoting log 1942 of Friday, June 23.
