WORK to revamp a canal towpath in Silsden may face delays after two of their mini-diggers were set on fire.
The suspected arson attack took place in Brunthwaite Bridge Lane at 1.10am on Monday and totally destroyed the plant machinary.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the diggers belonged to the Canal River Trust, who are carrying out work on the footpath.
A crew from Keighley fire station was alerted to the fire by site security guards and police were called in to investigate.
