MAN is being treated for "substantial leg injuries" following a car crash on one of Bradford's busiest roads.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the crash, at the junction of Manchester Road and St Stephen's Road in West Bowling, shortly before 3pm.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said two cars, a BMW and a Volkswagen Touran, were involved in the crash, with the BMW having taken the impact.
He said: "One person has substantial injuries to his legs, which is why the air ambulance is on the scene.
"Fire and ambulance crews are also present, and the whole junction is currently closed to traffic, which is causing massive congestion."

"The air ambulance landed in the middle of the road and there were police there, it was chaos."
