A MAN was arrested at Shipley railway station shortly after an armed robbery at a nearby bookmaker's.
Police were called to a report of an armed robbery at the business on Kirkgate, Shipley at 7.36pm yesterday.
The caller reported the suspect had left on foot and had ran off towards the railway station.
Officers attended the station and arrested a 31-year-old man from Shipley on suspicion of robbery. A knife was also recovered.
The man has now been charged and detained in custody on suspicion of six offences, including robbery.
