FIRE crews from Odsal station in Bradford were called after a blaze broke out in a scrapyard.
The incident occurred at Heckmondwike Commercials, in Walkley Lane, Heckmondwike, just after 11am yesterday.
The fire involved a large tractor unit being stored on the premises.
A spokesman for the Odsal crew said the owner had been burning old timber on a fire which then accidentally spread to the vehicle.
Crews from Odsal and Morley used two hose reels and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
