BINGLEY Music Live organisers, Bradford Council, have announced the second wave of acts to perform at the festival this summer.

Noel Gallagher has already been confirmed for the event, but this exclusive release reveals a number of other top artists.

First up is the shock addition of Liverpool alt-rock band Lightning Seeds to the main stage. The nineties favourites are well-known for their “Three Lions” hit which fans may well be belting out after a successful summer in Russia. Other sing-along greats include “Lucky You”, “Life of Riley” and “Pure”.

The line-up gets a little spicier with the next revelation as Melanie C will join the main stage for the Saturday afternoon. There’s sure to be several Spice Girl numbers amongst sporty-spice’s song list but she’ll also be bringing a wealth of solo work.

Following the release of their brand-new EP “Untitled In D” this year, Spector will also be bringing main stage action this summer. The London based indie-rock outfit have been praised for their new abrasive sound but also are acclaimed for their debut album “Enjoy It While It Lasts” which came out in 2012.

If you’re looking for new and emerging artists, then the returning “Discovery Stage” is where you want to be with acts such as Macclesfield four-piece Spring King or Black Honey hoping to rock to the big time as headliners on the second stage.

Other talents featuring on the Discovery Stage are: The Night Cafe, Jordan Allen, Queen Zee, Bad Sounds, Touts, Wild Front, Nerina Pallot, Sea Girls, Red Faces, Rascalton, Rosborough and Bryde.

Phil Barker, Bradford Council’s Assistant Director for Sport and Culture, said: “This year’s Bingley Music Live is going to be huge! Tickets are selling faster than in any previous year.”

Child tickets for the event are completely sold out now, however the announcement of the next wave of acts also coincides with the release of the second phase of weekend tickets.

You can get yours at the slightly increased price of £85.
