POLICE were called to Bingley railway station yesterday afternoon following reports of a serious assault.
Officers from British Transport Police attended the station at 1.49pm on Monday after two men had reportedly assaulted another man.
Police said the man had been assaulted "possibly with a weapon" at the station.
The victim boarded a train to Keighley, and was not believed to be seriously injured.
British Transport Police said: "Enquiries are continuing to establish the exact circumstances of what took place.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40 or texting 61016 with reference 269 of April 23.
